North of Greenford the ground rises towards Sudbury Hill and the houses get larger with it. This is the most substantial stock on our patch and where it runs into Harrow's.
The housing
Larger interwar detached and semi-detached property on generous plots, with driveways, turning space and good access throughout. Easy days physically, with the largest loads we handle in UB6.
The gradient
Minor but real. Some approaches climb, which matters once a trolley is loaded, and a handful of driveways are steeper than they look from the road. We check those before committing a vehicle rather than discovering them with a loaded tail-lift.

Larger houses and longer ownership mean more of the things that should not travel under a blanket — veneer, marble tops, large mirrors and framed work.
